I wanted to print some shirts with octopuses ravens coelacanths and other cool stuff on them, but the company I had been using has gotten difficult. Do you have a favorite tee shirt printing company?
I was thinking of "print on demand" shops online, but I'd like to hear experiences you've had with silk screen places too.
update: Ok I've ordered two shirts from Zazzle , the same design on a black shirt and on a white one. I'll report back when I get them.
OOOHH I got one , printed on white . It looks really pretty, and my gosh they did that fast! I think I ordered it last Wednesday!
Now to wash it a million times. Think I'll wear it first.

Drawing comics, or trying to...
Its April 4, 2023 and I'm still wrangling with page 164 of Rueday. It is giving me a lot of trouble! I have the most trouble with fitting one entire "nugget" of the story onto one page. I really should have made the page format of my Graphic novel larger when I started. Too late now! I also can't draw my own characters.That is kinda weird isn't it?

Hi ! Just a note here to apologize for not responding to the "requests" section on the "new notes" chat feature. There is too much weird spammy stuff on there! I do read the notes that are under "General".

Do you have an atypical way that you go about creating comic pages?
REAL comic artists have the dialogue written out exactly, then form the art around it so it fits!! I work totally backwards. It's so stupid! when I do a comic page I do all the art first, then scramble to figure out the words I am going to use from maybe paragraphs of dialogue. Visuals first, then get the words to fit? This is a REALLY dumb, weird, bassackward way to work, but I can't seem to break the habit!
I keep saying to myself .. OK THIS time I will have everything written out and ... and... oh, I don't feel like writing it out now. Later. Here's a cool picture.

I find I am much happier with a troublesome page if I let it "soak" for a while.

If you want lots of colors, Print on Demand is the way to go. If you have only a few colors, silkscreened shirts are going to be the best for quality and longevity.
