sparkle rainbow Artic fox by Reptangle sparkle rainbow Artic fox by Reptangle
This is the "Pebble" arctic fox, airbrushed in a combination of pearl and dark brown acrylic paint with fancy rainbow sparkle paint added.
He has the white nose and dark "points" that these foxes sometimes have when not in their full winter coat. He is very tiny, about the size of a walnut.
He is a gypsum reproduction of my original sculpture.
This particular fox was a Windstone forum "quest" contest prize.

Yes, but it is EXTREMELY expensive paint, so so far we have just made some special ebay , and raffle pieces with it. We are thinking about it. I really love the way it looks. thank you!

Try searching on "prizmacoat". That is one brand of sparkle paint. Don't be surprised if the price gives you a heart attack!

Wow that is just awesome. It's always hard to believe how small some of your sculpts are, because this is so detailed to be walnut sized. Any idea where one might find fancy rainbow sparkle paint? I would love some paint like that for my projects.

Is that spectraflair pigment, for the aurora effect? This is outstandingly gorgeous in all aspects.

I think the stuff I have is just called "silver", which is an odd name for it. Spectraflair might be a different brand of the same sort of thing. Hideously expensive!

It is silly expensive; I have a tiny gram pot of spectraflair that I use it to make custom nail polishes. Thanks for the reply. :3

If you guys ever get to make these for production, I hope at least some of them are done in a faux-ivory finish, so that they look like netsukes... I would find a way to get one of each.
