Spotted Hyena Male Griffin by Reptangle Spotted Hyena Male Griffin by Reptangle
I airbrushed this male griffin with a dark face and spotted pattern, and we thought he looked like a spotted hyena. This sculpture is about 10 inches tall, and he has brown glass eyes.
He was sold on Ebay.
This is a gypsum reproduction of my original sculpture produced by Windstone Editions.

Loooove the detailing on the feathers and the dorsal stripe! :D The face with the brown eyes is wonderful too!

I love your sculptures so so much. How long have you been making these? I want to know if it has been your artwork I've been drooling over since I was a little girl looking through jewelery shop windows.

I love how his head is done! Well I love the whole thing, lol, but the dark and light contrasting is awesome on his face!

oh wow, gorgeous! Especially around the face, as it gives him such a severely stern expression. Love it!

That pattern actually looks very realistic and natural on a griffin. Really fantastic.
