Spirit dog sideview by Reptangle Spirit dog sideview by Reptangle
This is a cement reproduction of my "spirit dog" . He was intended as a garden ornament. He has dichroic glass globes for eyes that reflect light at night, so he looks like a live animal when the headlights of the car hit him. He is about 19 inches tall and really heavy. We never produced these, he is one of ,maybe, three castings we did. This one gets to live inside, he guards my office.

Wow! I'd love to have one. I wish they had gone to production.

I'd VERY much like to put one in my garden or guarding a door somewhere :}

This piece is incredibly awesome. To me, it houses slightly more wolf appeal, than dog. Unless, of course, you're talking about a husky. Still, this work is amazing. If I had things situated, I swear I'd work a deal to have another one created by you. And, for that one, I'd request it being painted/colored to look like an arctic wolf seen after sunset. Phenomenal work, my friend.

Fav'd, as you should know.

You know, I had one of these guys sitting in my front yard garden for years and NOBODY EVER even noticed it!
I think this dog just blends into a garden setting too well to be noticed. This is another reason we never bothered producing them, when a sculpture just doesn't catch people's eye, it is a bad sign.

Hahaha, that's crazy and too bad! Maybe the colors were too tame.

Maybe I Should of painted him like a flamingo, or something...

OMG shame you never produced them. That would be awesome. Guardian doggie with reflecting eyes. <3

These guys would have made a nice line of garden ornaments! I'm impressed by the level of detail in the coat and the accuracy of the anatomy - it's more realistic than what one generally see on garden sculptures of animals.

Awww, great work! I love the line of the ears and the neck. And the glowing eyes idea! :D One of our dogs looks pretty much like this statue and uses to freak my mom out with his eyes XD
