Mother dragon in Em Pea by Reptangle Mother dragon in Em Pea by Reptangle
( I accidentally posted this image twice! Sorry! )

Our good old mother dragon painted in Emerald Peacock.
This sculpture was the first adult dragon I sculpted for Windstone. Originally I sculpted this dragon curled up tight with her nose tucked under her tail, but I stretched her out so that the hatchling dragon could be set next to her and not hide her face. I've always liked sculptures that are designed to go together, and seem to be interacting.

My husband gave her to me in 1986, after we saw her in Dragonspace on Granville Island in Vancouver. She's even more beautiful than in this picture, and I've nested geodes in and around her. I've had many compliments on her. She's much loved and cared for.

My husband bought her for me in 1992, after we saw her at Dragonspace at Granville Island in Vancouver. She's even more beautiful than the picture, and I have geodes nested in and around her. Many friends have commented on her over the years. She's much loved and cared for. ^_^

Did you happen to make one of these in red and gold? I got one at Medieval Times in SC in sixth grade for (if I remember correctly) $160 or so. It has the EXACT same shape as this dragon does. I'd like to get more of these! >.<

Yes we did! That color is called "red fire". We have discontinued that particular color because we were having so much trouble with the paint.
You have a retired dragon. That is a good thing!

Here is a link to our online shop if you would like to poke around: [link]
If you scroll all the way down on the shop page, at the bottom is a box with "Permanently discontinued" ... or something like that... in that section are pics of all the old red fire pieces.
