I get on a theme and keep painting stuff the same way until I wear it out. Lately, I have been painting dragons ( and kirins, and poads™) like different kinds of koi.
The "Kujaku" pattern of silver, white and orange or yellow, with individual spots on each scale, is my latest favorite, and a challenge to airbrush!
This little dragon has glass eyes, gold plated pewter horns and he is playing with a dichroic crystal globe.
He is about 5 1/2 inches long
This is a gypsum reproduction of my original sculpture produced by Windstone Editions.
