"GB" in the name means "grab bag". These are a few of the unicorns out of the December 2012 edition of individually painted baby unicorns . I am going to paint another larger batch soon as I get the castings. photo by Pam Thompson
I do nothing else!! I work all day. Sometimes I start at 6:30 am, but not always! I am not totally insane...but I work in the morning on "the Veligent" comic", untill around noon, then from noon till 8:30pm on painting and sculpting. Eat dinner ( often working on something while I eat)and work on "the Veligent" from about 9:30 till 10:30. (Talking on DA is my only recreation!) The number of pieces I paint varies. Most of these special pieces take 1/2 hour apiece to paint. I usually get 16 or so painted a day. Larger, more complicated pieces take longer, naturally. The ones I am working on now are taking about an hour apiece to paint.
Wow, you're certainly earning your bread and butter, aren't you! I'd like to get work as an artist but wouldn't like to be contractually stuck always giving so much of my day to something repetitive... But then again I lack the discipline many other artists seem born with. No wonder you do such varied art, gotta keep it interesting...? Your dragons are some of the best I've ever seen and the Poads are very collectible and interesting. Nice work!
