Blue Fawn Female Kirin by Reptangle Blue Fawn Female Kirin by Reptangle
This is a Kirin doe that I airbrushed in "Blue Fawn". This test-paint kirin was sold on ebay. She has metallic blue glass eyes and a gold plated pewter horn. She's about 6 1/2 inches long.
She is a gypsum reproduction of my original sculpture, produced by Windstone editions. [link]

I don't know if this link will work , but here is one with butterfly wings: [link]
This person makes gorgeous winged kirins, though the definition of a kirin is stretched a bit!: [link]

I love this one almost as much as the original ki rin color scheme. I hope you make a family available in this color scheme. I may be on a budget, but I would buy the family in this color scheme.

I just can't afford the prices of the test paints though.

Yeah, the ebay things get a little crazy...we are going to do a limited production batch of these in blue eyes albino soon.

The blue fawn color? Or an albino with blue scales? Are they going to be about the same price as the ki-rins currently in the shop (babies being about $50)? If so, let me know and I'll order some!

I'm not a huge fan of the straight albino, but then I'm not a huge fan of white. I love the fawn color though. And I love blue. and I love the blue/fawn together.

These albino kirins will be pearly white with pearly champagne colored scales. We are going to do them with both pink and metallic ice blue eyes.
-So these may not be exactly your cup of tea. I am not sure what the price wil be.
I'll post a pic here when they are done.

Well, I look forward to the pictures.

But I do hope you'll consider doing some production or limited production ki-rins that are fawn and colored. I still love my blue peacock dragons. I'm a huge fan of color. And would love to be able to afford some more of your work that are color pieces.

Very beautiful, it looks more like a Tuan ( "A Unicorn that appeared before Genghis Khan and cautioned him to stop waging war. It had the body of a stag, the head of a Dragon with a single horn coming from it and the tail of an ox. These five parts represent the five elements of the five virtues")

That sounds very much like a description of a kirin , except kirins have a scaled body ;[link]
It is interesting that there are five elements of five virtues. Kirins are supposed to be colored in the five "sacred colors", though I have not been able to find what those are!

I think that the mayor difference is the horn, the tuan has just one and the kirins two, and the tuan has the hability of undestand all the languajes. And about the colors... I have no idea too :)

kirins are often depicted one forked horn. They also can have two, or three or five horns.
I was trying to find a pic of a tuan. The few the pictures I found online show them looking like small scaly dragons, with what looks like, one horn sticking out of the mane on their heads. I should make one.

Oh wow! I love this, it's so cute! I've never seen a baby kirin before :D Kirins aren't super popular, a lot of people don't know what they are, but I'm glad to see you are aware of them ^^ This one is adorable. Wish I could've gotten ahold of it!
