Back view of some unicorns by Reptangle Back view of some unicorns by Reptangle
Detail shot from the rear, of some of the latest ( sold Sept 2013) Grab bag unicorns I painted. These have a variety of themes: supernatural animal patterns, fantasy, feathers, scales and other stuff.
"Grab bag " editions are sold sight-unseen . You don't know which one you get until you open the box!
These are cast gypsum reproductions of my original sculpture, produced by Windstone Editions. They have glass eyes, gold plated pewter horns and are about 6 inches tall.

I like the ones with the birds. You must have painted hundreds of these things, but each one always has such care and quality of details that it looks like it's the only one you intended to make. I want one.

The one in the lower right with the lightning-blue stripes is beyond awesome.

Wow! Such a lovely batch! And I love the grab bag idea. Sounds like a fun surprise!

By the way, I was at a fish market during the summer and saw some beautiful mackerels on display. Their coloration and pattern is just exquisite, and I wonder if you've ever painted something with that pattern before? I immediately thought of you and how you transpose realistic texture onto these fantastic models.

Ah, figures. It struck me as the kind of natural beauty you'd pick up on.
